Brian and LaVonne show the New Life Middle Schoolers how to dress like an Indian. These middle school students faithfully sponsor 2 Dalit children by raising their own funds via a yearly auction. This year they raised enough extra to fund a computer lab for one of our schools.

Yes, we are home (in the USA) for the holiday season. It has been 7 years since we have experienced Christmas in the USA. Emily and Noah don’t remember. Now that we are homeschooling we can once again share this time with family and friends. Brian will continue to work remotely during this time in the late evening and early morning hours. LaVonne and the kids get to continue their homeschooling while here but have plenty of free time saved up for Holiday fun!

We are here to catch up with friends and family, find new partners and raise some much needed support. We are also thankful for this special time to be with our parents. Both our fathers are dealing with health issues and it is an important for us to be here at this time.

Most of the time we’ll be in the greater Portland area from Salem to Sandy to Beaverton.

Our scheduled departure is January 24, 2012 OR when we are fully funded whichever comes last.

The first couple weeks of January we will be visiting friends and partners in California.

We look forward to spending time with as many of you as possible.
